What is the most exotic and tastiest flavor of soda pop you've ever had?

While stuff like Coke, Pepsi, 7-Up, Sprite, Crush, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, etc. is what most people drink in terms of carbonated drinks, have you ever had a more exotic flavor of soda pop which you really enjoyed?





Here in Canada, there's a supermarket brand line known as President's Choice which also includes various types of fruit flavored sodas such as green apple, cranberry, pink grapefruit, pomegranate, black currant...and most recently, lychee. All are quite tasty.





Canada's largest pharmacy chain, Shoppers Drug Mart, also has its own line of sodas, including a wonderful peach-flavored one.





Canada Dry recently came out with a new Green Tea-flavored gingle ale, which is quite refreshing.





And a friend of mine introduced me to a Mexican-brand of apple soda, which was amazing. It actually tasted like it contained real apple juice.

What is the most exotic and tastiest flavor of soda pop you've ever had?
Jones Soda comes in tons of flavors from the good, exotic flavors like blue bubblegum, kiwi lime and rasberry to the classic tastes like root beer. They even have some really gross ones no one in their right mind would drink like turkey and cheese casserole.


There's also a brand of soda they sell in Whole Foods. It's just called rasberry soda and it's delicious.
Reply:I'm not sure if this qualifies as "exotic" or not, but back when I was in high school some friends and I got hooked on Peach Nehi. I couldn't really tell you how much it tastes like real peach... but I do remember that I could drink it every day for a month and still want more.





Hmmm... now that I think back on that, it may just have been because I was in high scool and not necessarily because it was such a great soda!

Reply:They used to carry a midwest brand of soda here in the east. Its flavor was "REDPOP." It had a red color that probably glowed in the dark because it had so many unhealthy food dyes in it. It had a great artificial fruit flavor. I don't know if it is out of business or the health police shut them down but it was a treat for lovers of unhealthy food..
