Reply:The seeds are edible, but I like to juice them and make mixed drinks. :)

Extract the Seeds

* STEP 3: Place in a bowl of water.

* STEP 4: Allow fruit to soak for 5 minutes.

* STEP 5: Break the sections of the fruit open in the bowl of water.

* STEP 6: Allow the seed kernels to separate from the rind and sink to the bottom.

* STEP 7: Discard the rind and drain the kernels.

Extract the Juice

Instructions

* STEP 1: Press the fruit against a countertop.

* STEP 2: Roll it back and forth to break open the kernels and release the juice.

* STEP 3: Puncture or cut the pomegranate to squeeze the juice out.
Reply:I don't think you'll be growing a pomegrante tree in your belly. It really doesn't matter if you eat them or not.
Reply:No, it is very bitter.
Reply:Yes they're really good and tasty, i eat watermelon and kernel seeds too even though they really don't have much flavor,,
Reply:Yes it's good, delicious! When you cut open a Pomegranate it is filled with a white, bitter membrane and white seeds that are surrounded by juicy red stuff. You pick out the seeds and eat them. Or use them for garnish or whatever. Oh, they're SO yummy! They go bad really fast, though, so make sure you get them really fresh and use the whole Pomegranate at once.
Reply:yes sir they do eat them for me though its more work than its worth.
Reply:The seeds and the red pulp surrounding them are the only parts of the pomegranate that is supposed to be eaten. Inside of a pomegranate are hundreds of seeds packed in compartments that are separated by bitter, cream-colored membranes. Each tiny, edible seed is surrounded by a translucent, brilliant-red pulp that has a sparkling sweet-tart flavor.
Reply:Some people use them as toppings for ice cream and such. It doesn't hurt to eat them. I am not sure about the taste though
Reply:You are supposed to eat the seeds! Don't eat the rest!
Reply:Yes, that IS the part that you eat.

It's very messy. You take a towel, put it on your lap or whatever or maybe an apron. Then you "scoop" out the seeds as best as possible. Eat them as is, or scoop into a bowl. Juice will drip everywhere, but the juicer the better!

Try mixing them with cream cheese for crackers or veggies, it sound crazy weird, but it is REALLY good! Or put in a smoothie. I tend to love them plain.

Anyway, are they in season now?
