Does anyone like these fruits?

Pomegranate or star fruit? I want to try them both but dont know if they are good.

YES. They are really good, why not try them? Pomegranates can be a little awkward to eat the first time but it will be a fun experience... just know that you dont have to eat the seed part if you dont want to. You can just pop the little juice capsule things and spit the seeds out. And starfruits are tangy and delicious.

Reply:Pomegranates are extremely thick with seeds. The "format" of the fruit -- which is delicious as juice, by the way -- is basically a casing crammed full of loose, separate seeds thinly coated with an enclosed membrane of juice. You CAN pop each of these seeds in your mouth and draw away the juice. But that is a lot like eating a bunch of sunflower seeds in the shell when you are really hungry. If you like to have a glass full of something tasty, it may be a drudge to work your way through scores of little pellets of juice. You probably won't feel that you've had 6 ounces by the time you are through with one.





But the juice IS SO good.

Reply:pomegranate is great! you can either eat it as is, PEEL FIRST, bite, expell juice with your teeth and spew out the seeds or put cut up chunks in a cheese cloth or cut up cleen tee-shirt and squeeze the juice out.





also you can buy the pomegranate juice already made, with very few additives, from a manufacturer called Pom (sold in major grocery stores) or from Trader Joes.





not sure about star fruit. never had it, its on my list tho...

Reply:well pom wonderful is good. thats the juice made out of pomegranate. i would think that pomegrante would taste similar to the juice :-)
