Does the fertilizer actually goes into the ground?

I am growing pomegrantes and I put dog droppings on the ground above the pomegranate trees. I want to ask is how long before the droppings will enter the ground and if putting too much droppings can kill the tree? I love using my dog's dropping for my pomegranates tree and it is flourishing.

Does the fertilizer actually goes into the ground?
I agree with maamu, use real fertilizer, I hope I never eat one of your pomegranates....
Reply:That is just sick.

You use rotted cow manure. Dog waste has its own classification in the Bio Hazard field.

I don't know where you live, but in my city the health department would be at your door.
