How do I know when a pomegranate is ripe??

When it%26#039;s bright red on the outside.

An easy way to remove the seeds. Is cut the pomegranite in half and then hold a half in your hand seed side down. Then wallop with a wooden spoon (have a dish underneath your hand) the seeds come out quite easily and it saves using the old fashioned method of using a pin to remove each individual seed.

How do I know when a pomegranate is ripe??
Pomegranates are ripe when they are red outside and the fruity bits inside are dark red. You can eat the fruity bits when they are red. They are still juicy but if they are pink, you may be on the way to a sleepless night of pain or even trots.
