Do you like pomegranates?

I love em. I think they are one of the coolest fruits ever. What do you think?

Do you like pomegranates?
My grandmother used to have a tree in her yard, after she died I never even saw one in the stores. We loved them but I haven%26#039;t had one since I was 9 years old, that%26#039;s brought back some very pleasant memories of granny, I liked the question.
Reply:I am frightened of pomegranates. They have like a million seeds and I don%26#039;t even know how you are supposed to eat them.... you suck the weird jelly off each seed? Too much work. I tried pomegranates juice and it was like spooky cranberry juice. I get spooked just from seeing a half eaten pomegranate sitting on the kitchen counter. Yikes!
Reply:The fruit itself is a hassle to eat, but I love small quantities of pomogranite juice. I also recently discovered pomogranite concentrate in the refrigorator of the supplement section of my local health food store. Haven%26#039;t used it in cooking yet...but I see enormous possibilities...
Reply:yes! they are so yummy and tangy and sweet at the same time.





they can be a pain to eat though. I usually hit them hard right before you break it open and then hit it again so it loosens the seeds.
Reply:Yes, I love them. I love them plain, their juices in a vinagrette dressing, love %26#039;em in a cocktail.

Reply:You bet, but also agree with previous poster about what a pain they are to eat. I drink pomegranate juice daily, however.
Reply:YES! i love oasis pomegranate juice, its soo good and healthy for ya and it kills antioxidants or whatever they%26#039;re called :P

Reply:They are delicious! I like them because they are sweet and take a while to eat and peeling out all the stuff in the middle between the seeds is fun.

Reply:For me, they are too little fruit and too much seeds. Is there a technique you use to eat them?
Reply:yes, and i always make sure i%26#039;m not wearing a fav shirt while eating them since the juice stains!
