Not been seen for years.

The blood orange is a genetic mutation that was discovered in florida. It then has been cloned and commercially grown. Not a cross between poms and oranges.
Reply:those are rare to find I had one last week but those were shipped to me. can%26#039;t tell you just call around try some of those huge grocery stores like walmart even wegmans. let your finger do the walking save some gas the clerks don%26#039;t mind really.
Reply:lol that%26#039;s funny They have them here in Michigan
Reply:we can get them in the uk in sainsbury%26#039;s
Reply:They bled to death?? LOL! Anyhow, on a more serious note...we can get them here in New York State.
Reply:They are around but you have to search a bit. incidentally it is impossible to cross a pomegranite with an orange, it would be like crossing a dog with a chicken, it just wouldn%26#039;t work.
Reply:I%26#039;m in the Midwest, you can get them here when in season.
Reply:We still have them in our area, SE US, but they%26#039;re seasonal. Love the distinctive colour and flavour for an orange and fennel salad.
Reply:blood oranges are native to Sicily and Spain, however, they are now farmed in California and Texas. They are a cross between a pomelo( a chinese grapefruit) and a tangerine according to Wikipedia and you can buy them online if they are hard to find in your local grocers. Here is your online market link at 10 pounds of blood oranges for $35
