Do you eat pomegranates with a pin? Can you eat them in a nice way (posh like)?

Yes, I used to eat them with a cocktail stick. I bought one for my 8 year old daughter and a box of cocktail sticks and she loved it!

Reply:I cut the top off then cut it in half. It breaks into chunks by hand very easily and I eat it, hands and mouth. It%26#039;s easy to use lips, teeth and tongue to eat the fruits and not the pith.





What are the pin-wielders doing? My way there is a much greater sensation of taste.

Reply:Its the only way to eat them, a big pin and half a pomegranate and I%26#039;m quite for half an hour, posh way is to buy just the seeds in bags from the chilled section at Asda, weres the fun in that.

Reply:I eat them the same way I eat an orange. Cut into segments and eat.
Reply:I never use a pin. I just roll the pomegrante in my hand to soften it up, cut it open and pop out the seeds into a bowl, put a bit of sugar on them and use a spoon.
Reply:I just take out the seeds put then in a cup and eat them (whole) with a spoon.





A couple times the juice had squirted in my eyes before. Ouch!





It is so hard to get those darn seeds out!





Did you know that now they sell pomegranate seeds? I saw them in containers at costco. They were sold by the company that sells the pomegranate juice as well. I think it is POM Wonderful.

Reply:YES I DO. I have a posh pin with a pearl on the end. Looks nice and no-one else uses it.


Got them from the haberdashers store, you can also buy them in markets.
