How do I prepare a pomegranate?

Impulse buy, what can I say. Now what do I do with this giant piece of fruit?

How do I prepare a pomegranate?
Cut it only slighty making a circle around that is about 1/4 inch deep into the skin, then break it apart. Repeat that procedure so you have quarters. Place the fruit on a dish and you can dig out the seeds. Don%26#039;t eat the seed, just the red jelly like fruit around it. I love the way they taste - both sweet and sour, but they are a lot of work, and they stani your hands and clothing. Enjoy!
Reply:You open it and eat the seeds. You are probably better cutting it in 4 or 8 pieces. It%26#039;s pretty good. Basically you suck the juice out of the seeds.
Reply:Peel it, then loosen the seeds and use them in salads or eat straight.

Find a %26quot;flat%26quot; part of the pom, and use a paring knife to cut into the leathery skin. Then use your fingers to peel skin to expose red seeds in the %26quot;bulbous%26quot; area of the pom.
Reply:Cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and eat them! Indian apples are GREAT!! Be careful, though. The juice stains.
Reply:Pomegranites are shy by nature, and must be led carefully toward any social occasion. Some form of re-assuring wombat (or trouser-press) might ensure that your gent%26#039;s ordinary pomegranite gives a good presentasian of himself.
Reply:cut it in half, get a spoon and dig all the bits of segments out.. eat it with ice-cream or a fruit salad.. or put a little sugar on them and eat them straight out of the fruit half
Reply:gently use a knife and cut about 1/2 a centimeter into the skin of it in a circle use ur hands to break it open if it wont open cut it a little more
