Are these truely the worst baby names?

Ancestry.com shares the silliest, craziest and downright cruelest names of all time

What would compel a parent to bestow a newborn with a name like “Tiny Hooker” or “Fanny Large”? Or an amusing choice like “Wanna Towell"? It’s not just Hollywood’s elite opting for unique, embarrassing names—throughout history, normal people separated their offspring from the masses with truly terrible names.

In “Bad Baby Names,” Michael Sherrod and Matthew Rayback, of the genealogy Web site Ancestry.com, share thousands of shocking names given to real people, as recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau. Discover the funny names based around common themes, like diseases (Fever Bender, Cholera Peace), food (Bread White, Pomegranate Purple), pets (Good Dog), and if you thought Wednesday Addams was unfortunate—wait till you meet Monday Monday.

Are these truely the worst baby names?
These are mean, cruel and vicious, but I have one just as bad.

The first name was Rusty and he swore that you pronounced his last name "kooonz". I told him with the spelling that he currently had, he had to change it to how is sounded or everyone would pronounce it as they saw in

K-u-n-t-z.

Reply:Very Bad.
Reply:phillip means a lover of horses....I love horses. I just don't like the name much.... you know, if we translated phillipa back to old english, it would be eowyn... "eo" horse, "wyn" joy. Horse-joy. someone who delights in horses.

seriously cool stuff here.
Reply:I reckon Misty Hymen is the worst name I've heard-but someone told me about this crazy couple who named their twin boys-Arma + Gedden----- another twin story is Benson + Hedges--but we have a family nearby whose surname is Hole and the poor kids all have nicknames like-Sloppy (Hole),Stinky (Hole), Hairy (Hole), Digga (Hole) and Slippery (Hole)
Reply:yeah the ones you cant prenounce
Reply:How bout twin boys....Pete and Re-pete.... True story....
Reply:my name is Tiny Hooker. jerk.
Reply:WOWAH!! i would like to be named Pomegranate Purple!! that would be sooo cool! i actually think im gonna name by baby that!! ha ha thanks!

Reply:oh god, i hope people don't really name their kids this. i once heard of urhiness icy special k or something like that. it was f*cked up. (didn't know them personally thankfully).

whatever happened to names like kate and alanna and noah? those aren't as common as emma and sarah, but they are still normal
Reply:it's pretty bad... i honestly knew a guy named "about dunn". it was an older man. think about his grave stone when he dies!
Reply:yes they are
Reply:Yeah, there are some real morons out there who obviously don't care about the lifetime of ridicule their child will face.
Reply:yes! definitely
Reply:Well.. naming a child "Apple" is pretty DUMB. But I think Frank Zappa get the cake on it for giving the names of Dweezel and Moon Unit to his children.

But as a sidenote... and speaking of unusual name combinations.... there was this old "joke" about two movie actors... one was named Fredrick March III, and the other was named Tuesday Weld (yeah... real people, you can google them!). However, the joke goes, "If Tuesday Weld married Fredrick March III, she'd be Tuesday March the 3rd!"

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
Reply:i hate the name worren and phillip.
Reply:Seven, April,Fraise(strawberry)
Reply:why name a child a bad name when they will just be made fun of in their future
Reply:two boys lived across the street from me when I was growing up and their names were Diamond and Emerald (twins), I knew a girl named Love and lastly I know a man who named his daughter Messiah....

I don't know what people go through sometimes when it comes to naming their children.
